• Demonstrate proper handling, care, and use of the pocketknife, ax, and saw.
• Knives, axes, and saws are serious tools. Use them only when you are willing to give them your full attention.
• Respect property. Cut living and dead trees only with permission and with good reason.
• Use wood tools in such a way that you leave no trace.
